Our goal is to make sure your order is delivered in good condition. On some occasions, things out of our control will cause the items to get damaged during transit. Fireplace Deals will take responsibility for items damaged in shipping that are reported within the claim time listed below.

 

Standard Shipping:

Damages must be reported within 30 days. A photo of the damages is required. You must keep the original packaging.

 

Freight Shipping:

Damages must be reported within ONE business day. A photo of the damages is required. Noting “damaged” on the receipt upon signing is required. You must keep the original packaging.

For freight delivery, if you sign for the delivery and do not note any damages or missing items, you have accepted the full shipment and confirmed it is in excellent condition. You will need to open and inspect the shipment in front of the delivery driver.

Any damage should be noted on the receipt. Keep all the original packaging. In the case of major damage, or damage to multiple items write on the receipt “refused due to damage” and call us immediately at 866-848-3473. Any damage, whether the order was accepted or refused, must be reported within one day of delivery. You will have 40 days to return.

Fireplace Deals is not responsible for any labor costs or project delays that are the result of damaged goods. A good practice is to schedule an installation after your shipment has arrived and you ensure it is in the proper condition.
